Course Objectives:
- Participants will review the major anatomical aspects of the following joints: Scapulothoracic, Glenohumeral, Elbow/radio-ulnar, Wrist, Carpometacarpal joint of the thumb and metarsophalangeal joint of the hallux, Hip, Knee – tibiofemoral and patellofemoral, Ankle and subtalar
- Participants will be given the opportunity to have individual review and investigation of their own clinical questions using human cadavers. In addition to the opportunity for hands on laboratory time, participants can access other anatomy course materials. These materials include a software program that presents the anatomy of a complete man and the abdominal and pelvic area of a woman with linked cross-sectional views and numerous features to assist in learning anatomy; a lesson pack on surface palpation; and a lesson pack on cadaver dissection. Course presenters will be available to assist in the review.
