For the 2012 Annual Conference, OPTA is distributing the conference handouts online. Course handouts will be available online during the week of conference. Attendees will be able to access course handouts by clicking on individual course titles at that time.  

STUDENT SYMPOSIUM

This one-day course is open to all PT and PTA students. Whether it is your first quarter or you are preparing for that last clinical affiliation, this Symposium is for you. Student Symposium Registration is now open!

Friday - March 30, 2012

  • Student Challenge: 5:30 - 6:30 PM. It is a Jeopardy style game where students  are in teams of 4 & rival against other Ohio schools. The winning team will get a trophy and gift certificate. Click here!
  • Meet the Candidates: 6:30 - 7:00PM. Candidates running for Vice President, Secretary, Director II, Nominating Chair and Delegates to the APTA House of Delegates will be available to meet participants and answer any questions.
  • Oxford Debates: 7:00 - 8:00PM. The Oxford Debate is a formulated, interactive debate in which audience participation is a key feature of the occasion, providing a rare opportunity for participants to voice their opinions and to challenge those of the speakers.  Join us for this lively event.
  • PAC Event: 8:00PM. Join your colleagues for the OPT-PAC Wine Tasting and Auction, all money will go to the OPT-PAC.

Saturday - March 31, 2012

  • Annual Membership Meeting Breakfast: All members are invited. If you are not registered for Annual Conference there will be a $15 charge for the Annual Membership Meeting Breakfast.
  • Annual Membership Meeting: All members are encouraged to attend. Awards for 2011 will be presented during the Annual Membership Meeting.

  • Dress for the conference is business casual unless otherwise noted in the course description.
  • Please note early bird registrations must be made by March 9, 2012.  After this date, you must pay the on-site registration fees.
  • Cancellation requests received before March 23, 2012 will be refunded, minus a 20% administrative fee. No refunds after March 23, 2012. Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
