Committee Awards

The research committee would like to recognize all Ohio PTs and PTAs who have conducted a research project in the current year. Recognition certificates will be given out during the OPTA Annual Conference (you do not need to attend to receive your certificate).

Friend of PT Research Award The research committee is accepting nominations to honor a "Friend" who has assisted an Ohio PT/PTA to complete a research related activity. To nominate a candidate, please write a 1 page summary of the person's participation during the research activity. Provide specifics such as donation of supplies, equipment, time, funds, etc. Be sure to include contact information for both yourself and the nominee. The person nominated can be any non-PT such as: an equipment vendor, a health care team member who participates in or supports a PT study, or an administrative helper for a large project, etc. The award will be presented during the Awards Ceremony at the OPTA Fall Conference.
