November 18, 2008OSCA Legislative DayTHE OSCA WILL BE PUTTING FORTH MAJOR CHIROPRACTIC EQUALITY LEGISLATION EARLY IN THE 2009 LEGISLATIVE SESSION.
Our success will be directly related to the involvement of DC's around Ohio.
Do not miss the opportunity to be briefed fully on the legislation and to begin a dialogue with your legislators about this important bill. Many newly elected legislators will be in attendance.
In order to advance the cause of chiropractic in Ohio, we need to be engaged with legislators both here in Columbus and in their legislative districts.
The OSCA's 2008 Legislative Day is the perfect opportunity to build those relationships with legislators. Your involvement in this process is critical. Your legislators will respond to your involvement, and that involvement has tremendous potential for changing votes on critical issues.
Mark your calendar now for the 2008 Ohio State Chiropractic Association's Annual Legislative Day. This event provides an excellent opportunity to meet and educate your state legislators.
We will brief you on our chiropractic equality bill and other hot issues and schedule appointments for you to meet with your state senator and representative. The day will end with a legislative reception where chiropractic physicians can interact with members of the entire Ohio General Assembly.
