Acupuncture Course

Receives Overwhelming Response

Acupuncture is a very beneficial adjunct to any chiropractic practice. It can become as relevant as your adjustment for many patients. Nearly 100 Ohio DCs embraced that vision and are currently participating in the first round of OSCA endorsed acupuncture programs presented by Dr. John Amaro and the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

"The evaluations of the course are as positive as any continuing education we have offered since I have been with the OSCA," said assistant executive director Dixie Russell.

The first session of the next round of IAMA/OSCA courses begins on April 12 in Columbus. OSCA executive director Woody Woodward reported that, "Docs love Dr. Amaro's teaching style and they especially love that they can complete so much of the class on line, with only three weekends of in-class training."

Course dates for the second course series are April 12-13, May 3-4 and May 31-June 1. All courses are held in Columbus. In addition to the three weekend classes, doctors must complete a total of 11 on-line classes plus thirty "case studies." The fee for the first seven classes is $300 each. The next seven on-line classes are just $225 each when enrolling in all 14 courses simultaneously. The fee for the 120 hour case study portion is just $500.
