NFL Hall of Famer to Headline Convention

NFL Hall of Fame Linebacker Harry Carson will deliver a keynote speech at the 2008 OSCA Convention.

A nine time pro-bowler, Carson was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2006. He is a passionate spokesperson for chiropractic, serving as the WellCare ambassador for the New York Chiropractic Council's WellCare Revolution.

"We are proud that Harry is coming back to Ohio. He had an unforgettable experience in Canton in 2006, and I believe that our doctors will have an unforgettable experience with him in Columbus this October," said OSCA Executive Director Woody Woodward. "Harry exudes credibility, passion and authentic care, and he is a firm believer in the benefits of chiropractic. We are so very fortunate that he will be joining us for convention."

Carson anchored the New York Giants defense for thirteen years, and served ten years as Giants captain-a testament to his leadership ability. He helped the Giants to their first Super Bowl win in 1986 and was on the sidelines as the Giants captured the Super Bowl championship earlier this year.

Carson credits chiropractic with keeping him on the field during thirteen grueling NFL seasons. As recently as last week, he appeared in the Boomer Esiason show on WFAN in New York to make a strong argument on behalf of chiropractic to hundreds of thousands of morning show listeners.

OSCA Presidents Club members will have an opportunity to meet Harry Carson before his Saturday morning convention appearance.

The 2008 OSCA Convention will be help October 18 and 19 at the Hilton Columbus at Easton. In addition to Carson, Olympic Gold Medalist Butch Reynolds has confirmed that he will return to convention in 2008. Learning sessions will be led by Dr. Bob Hoffman and Dr. Michael Schneider.
