Mangum-Howell Center Offers a CPR Certification Class

Visit Mangum-Howell Center Thursday, August 8 from 9 a.m. to noon as Lorraine Hibbert, a certified instructor through the American Heart Association, leads a CPR certification class for ages 14 years and older. She has 20 years of experience as a registered nurse and has been a CPR instructor for the association for four years. Course content includes adult, child and infant choking, CPR, first aid and use of the AED defibrillator. The two-year certification fee is $15. Space is limited. Mangum-Howell Center’s free intergenerational programs are part of Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle’s educational and recreational commitment to Harris County residents. Mangum-Howell Center is located in Doss Park at 2500 Frick Road, Houston 77038. Harris County Precinct 4 programs serve people of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or physical ability. Anyone requiring special assistance to participate in any program should contact Mangum-Howell Center. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18.
