ABOUT
The focus of the 2nd Chance Society Dallas–Ft. Worth Chapter is to inform and educate the public about SCA and the importance of an AED. Their vision is to maximize every opportunity to create awareness throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Chapter leader Cassandra Lynch's life was transformed by SCA when her 36-year-old brother collapsed while playing basketball. Unfortunately, the facility did not have an AED or trained CPR staff. This trauma sparked Cassandra's desire to change the world.

Stiletto Fashion Show is an annual semi-formal event that includes a theatrical fashion show, wine tasting, art show, live jazz band and vendors. Scheduled to take place Friday, September 10, 2010, "Swagger on the Runway " will be a fun-filled event complete with live performances, special guest appearances, vendors, food, fun, prizes, networking and more! Over 300 + patrons will experience the opportunity to view the latest fall fashions from area designers during this high energy fashion show.
"Swagger on the Runway " will attract an estimated 25,000+ impressions and will serve as an excellent branding & visibility opportunity for all sponsoring companies, affiliates and vendors. "Swagger on the Runway " will be an upscale event geared towards a diverse demographic and will feature diverse entertainment and activities for all event attendees.
SCAA's Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter is raising awareness within the Arlington, Texas community by hosting a Social Network Mix & Mingle. With several social networks on the Internet, it's always great to meet online friends offline. At this event there will be an array of attendees, from business professionals to nurses and even DFW Xpress Semi-Pro Football! We hope that by bringing different people together we will be able to inform each of them about SCA, and they will continue the cycle by informing someone else. We will have an SCA table set up with literature & facts.
On October 25, 2009 at The Loft in Dallas, Texas, Cassandra Lynch participated in the The Judah Set, an Entertainment & Lifestyle Communications Platform for the Adult Christian marketplace. At this event she was given the opportunity to speak on SCA and the importance of early defibrillation. She passed out membership information, and facts about SCA to approximately 50 people in attendance.
