Soccer Player, 15, Dies From Undetectable Heart Disease
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Officials said a 15-year-old soccer player who died Monday in Beaver County died from an undetectable congenital heart condition.
The Franklin Township community gathered to mourn Monday evening after learning about the teen's death.
An official from Beaver County Christian School identified the boy as sophomore Sam Dickson.
Rose McChesney said Dickson collapsed during a break in a drill and was transported to Ellwood City Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
