Police Revive Iowa Runner Who Collapses at Meet


CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — A runner from Decorah high school was revived by two police officers after collapsing at a cross country meet in Cedar Falls.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports (http://bit.ly/px4uEU) the 17-year-old student was running in the Rich Engel Cross Country Classic when he collapsed Thursday evening. A doctor in the crowd started doing CPR until two Cedar Falls police officers arrived with a defibrillator.
