Woman Dies on Southwest Flight After Cardiac Arrest

INDIANAPOLIS (WXIA) -- A Southwest Airlines flight from Atlanta to Chicago was diverted to Indianapolis Wednesday afternoon after a report of a woman having a heart attack.
The flight, Southwest Flight 1628, landed safely at 12:46 p.m. Indianapolis Airport Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the woman dead on arrival. The Marion County Coroner's office responded to the airport.
Passengers on the flight were able to continue on to Chicago a short time later.
