Jogger in Port Orchard Resuscitated After Collapsing

PORT ORCHARD — A 40-year-old man jogging on the 500 block of Bay Street collapsed and stopped breathing early Wednesday evening, but was resuscitated by a woman on the scene and police and fire officials doing CPR and applying a defibrillator.

South Kitsap Fire and Rescue crews and Port Orchard police received the call at 6:10 p.m. Police arrived within four minutes, said South Kitsap Fire Battalion Chief Ron Powers.
