Sudden Cardiac Death.
Know the Risk. Take Action
Cambridge Heart's mission is to reduce the impact of sudden cardiac death by providing non-invasive technologies to identify individuals at risk of life-threatening arrhythmias. Our innovative diagnostic test is used to measure Microvolt T-Wave Alternans (MTWA), a subtle beat-to-beat fluctuation in the T-wave segment of the electrocardiogram. Recent clinical studies show that patients with a normal or negative MTWA test are at minimal risk for life-threatening arrhythmias, while those who have an abnormal test are at increased risk for sudden cardiac arrest and may benefit from ICD therapy.
