What is 4G Ne†working?
4G Ne†working is the Southern Ohio Synod’s approach to the ELCA Macedonia Project, a two-year initiative to grow faithful and generous stewards of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The 4 G's stand for: God, Grace, Gratitude, and Generosity.
4G Networking is based on the following biblical principles:
God: Everything we are and all that we have comes from and belongs to God [Deut 8:17-18; I Chron 29:14; Ps 100:1-5; I Cor 6:19-20].
Grace: Faith in Christ is a gift from God. Our poverty is replaced by His wealth. His riches are free; and not because we deserve it, but because Jesus is gracious [Jn: 3:16-17; Eph 1:7; 2:8; 2 Cor 9:8; Mark 6:4].
Gratitude: When the grace of Jesus penetrates the human heart, it rebounds back to God as gratitude, an expression of faith [Eph 4:6; 2 Cor 8:2; 9:15; Acts 20:35].
Generosity: God gives because God loves. We give out of glad and generous hearts as an expression of love and devotion to God by freely offering ourselves and our possessions to God [2 Cor:1:5; Cor 4:15; 2 Cor 10-12].
