New Interim Treasurer Announcement

I am happy to announce that Mr. Kevin Pyles has agreed to be the interim treasurer for the Southern Ohio Synod Council. Mr. Pyles has considerable experience with governmental and religious non-profits. His many years of experience will be a tremendous asset to the synod council as we review and approve the 2015 spending authorization and prepare the 2016 Mission and Ministry Plan for the approval of the synod assembly.

Below is a summary of Mr. Pyles' work experience and a bit about himself and his family.

Born in Cincinnati in 1955.
Bachelor's degree from Kent State University.
Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.
Former Ohio Auditor State Examiner, Holmes County Auditor, Deputy Hamilton County Auditor, Fiscal Officer of Amelia Village, Ohio.
Former Director of Internal Audit for East of Lake Victoria Diocese, Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania.
Married to Celesta Weaver. Two daughters, Stephanie Pyle of Denver, CO and Tracie Kromer of Loveland, OH.
