Interfaith Power & Light Invites Congregations to join Valentine’s Weekend Preach-In on Global Warming

Interfaith Power & Light expects its 2015's Preach-In on Global Warming to be the biggest yet. The organization and its 40 state affiliates are aiming to sign up 3,000 faith communities to preach or hold educational events on Valentine's Day weekend. The Preach-In will reach over one million people of faith and focus on the message of climate justice and loving God’s Creation.

"The Preach-In is our most popular event of the year, hands down," said organizer Andree Duggan. "We’ve learned a lot from our congregations about what they need from us, and we provide everything from sample sermons and prayers, to bulletin inserts and post cards to senators. There’s something very powerful about knowing thousands of congregations are preaching about this issue at the same time.
