2015 Annual Assembly of the Hunger Network in Ohio May 3

You are invited to the 2015 Annual Assembly of the Hunger Network in Ohio, Sunday, May 3, from 3:30 to 6pm, at All Saints Lutheran Church, 6770 N. High St. in Worthington.

The theme, Speak Out for Justice, based on Proverbs 31:8-9, aptly summarizes the work of the Hunger Network, an ecumenical coalition advocating for productive state policies to end hunger in Ohio. The program will feature four panelists reflecting on the economic morality and common good of the proposed Ohio Biennial Budget- Robert Cadlwell, Regional Director for Think Tank, Inc. and AnswerPoverty.org; Tom Smith, Public Policy Director, the Ohio Council of Churches; Cathy Johnston, Advocacy Director for the Coalition on Homelesness and Housing in Ohio; and Nick Bates, Outreach Director with One Ohio Now and chair of the SOS Public Policy team.
