Southern Ohio Synod congregations top givers to World Hunger in Region 6

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) just released the the World Hunger giving numbers for the first quarter of 2015. In Region 6, the Southern Ohio Synod is the top giver, having donated $53,223.87 to World Hunger.

The ELCA's synods are grouped into nine regions. The Southern Ohio Synod is in Region 6, along with the Southeast Michigan Synod, North/West Lower Michigan Synod, Indiana-Kentucky Synod, Northwestern Ohio Synod and the Northeastern Ohio Synod.

Bishop Dillahunt thanks each of you who have contributed to World Hunger this year and encourages everyone to continue to support this vital ministry that impacts people in our own neighborhoods, as well as overseas.
