Latvian Lutheran Church votes to stop ordaining women

Bishop Suzanne Dillahunt, along with many other ELCA Bishops, recently signed on to a letter against the decision of the Latvian Lutheran Church to stop ordaining women. The Association of Lutheran Women Theologians in Latvia has begun work with Mary Streufert, Director of Justice for Women of the ELCA, to push back and reverse this decision.
