Airing of 'Joe’s Violin' to Commemorate Kristallnacht

'Joe’s Violin,' a 24-minute documentary film featuring a 90-year-old Holocaust survivor and a young girl who receives his beloved violin, will be aired during the annual Kristallnacht commemoration at 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, in the Gloria Dei Worship Center at Trinity Lutheran Seminary, 2199 E. Main Street.

A panel discussion will take place following the screening, which is free and open to the public. Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass) recalls the series of attacks against Jews throughout Nazi Germany and parts of Austria on November 9–10, 1938. The program at Trinity is presented in partnership with The Jewish Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation of Columbus, Trinity Lutheran Seminary, and Capital University.
