FLSA flow chart for religious institutions
The deadline to implement changes associated with the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) is quickly approaching (Dec 1). The ELCA Associate General Counsel, Thomas Cunniff, distributed the flow chart below to assist congregations and synodical offices with determining which members of these organizations are impacted by the overtime pay rules and which are not.
