Obituary for The Rev. Harold L. Figley

The Reverend Harold L. Figley went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2012. He was 84 years old.

Pr. Figley attended Wittenberg University and Hamma Lutheran Seminary (now Trinity Lutheran Seminary), where he received his Master in Divinity degree in 1953.

His first call was with Messiah Lutheran Church in Dayton, Ohio where he served from 1953 until 1971. Pr. Figley then went on to serve at Holy Trinty, Englewood; First, Donnelsville; and St. Paul, Dayton until he retired in 1993.

A memorial service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 500 Hickory Street, Dayton, Ohio on Saturday, October 20 at 11:00 am. Pr. John Johansen will officiate.

Pr. Figley is survived by his daughter, two sons and grandchildren.
