Calling All SOS Women of the ELCA: 2013 Convention Information is Here, Don't Delay!

Happy 2013 to all my sisters in Christ here in Southern Ohio!

I pray that you are staying warm this cold winter! Your convention task force has been working hard this past fall to plan an exciting weekend in September 2013. This section is full of registration information, in-kind gift items to be made, as well as a special offer. There is also a sheet on museums located in Lancaster.

For Friday afternoon, before the convention begins, we have tours lined up in each museum depending on which you want to visit. At the Spring Gatherings you will have the opportunity to sign up for the tours. Don’t worry if you have a later Spring Gathering, the purpose of the early sign up is to make sure we have enough tour guides for all who wish to attend. The tours are reasonably priced as well, $6.00 each or 2 for $10.

Holiday Inn is excited that we will be visiting them. They gave us a great rate! If you have 4 to a room it is approximated $33.00. That is great! And it is good for Thursday and Friday. Just let the Holiday Inn know you are part of the group. (See the bottom of the registration page for full details). We have 20 rooms blocked and more available if we need them.

Friday evening, bring your favorite beverage of choice and the board will supply the appetizers. We will be gathering at the Holiday Inn after the convention is over for some fun and fellowship!
