How Do We End Hunger in Our Lifetime? One Person at a Time! Start Now by Participating in the Congregational Hunger Leaders Day on March 9

 

Calling all hunger leaders and advocates from the Southern Ohio Synod!

Join the Southern Ohio Synod Hunger Task Force and other like-minded people from our synod on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Reynoldsburg for a Congregational Hunger Leaders Day.

This event will kick off at 9:30 am with registration and social time, followed by an impactful keynote address by Bishop Ralph Dunkin from the West Virginia/Western Maryland Synod. Participants will then break into two groups for Hunger 101 workshops and Hunger 201 Workshops. The 101 workshops are for hunger leaders and advocates just starting awareness and advocacy within their congregation. 201 workshops are for more seasoned hunger leaders who are looking to take their hunger advocacy a step or two higher.

Lunch will be provided by Freshbox Catering, a company run by Faith Mission in Columbus, Ohio. Lunch is only $5 and helps support this wonderful Faith Mission ministry.
