Plan Regarding Election of New Synod Bishop to be Shared Soon

Because Bishop Callon Holloway, Jr. will retire this summer, an election to select a new bishop for the Southern Ohio Synod will be held at SynodFest, June 7-8, 2013 at Wittenberg University. The Executive Committee of the Southern Ohio Synod Council is putting together a plan leading up to the election in conjunction with the synod constitution. That plan will be shared shortly.

In the meantime, please begin selecting your voting members and pray for the synod as we transition to new leadership.
