Ohio Interfaith Power and Light Teach-In on Climate Change Live Stream Jan 19 at 6:30 pm

In the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr.’s call to confront the issues of our time, join Ohio Interfaith Power and Light’s Teach-In on Climate Change January 19, 2014, 6:30pm-8:30pm EST.

Scientists will share up-to-date information about climate change. Live streaming from the Byrd Polar Research Center at OSU will be followed by conversation with local faith leaders and local scientists in preparation for the National Preach-In on Climate Change when congregations will share a moral response to climate change in worship and education. Teach-Ins, where you can join others in viewing the broadcast and ask questions directly to the presenters, are planned for various locations. The live broadcast will start at 7:00pm EST, and will provide an overview of the latest and most important climate science information, including a preview of the upcoming National Climate Assessment report.

Central Ohio area: OSU Byrd Polar Research Center, 1090 Carmack Road, Columbus 

Greater Cleveland area: River’s Edge, Cleveland, 3430 Rocky River Drive, Cleveland 

Dayton area: Sears Recital Hall, Humanities Building, University of Dayton 

Cincinnati area: Xavier University is 3800 Victory Pkwy, Kennedy Auditorium, Conaton Learning Commons Rm. 412.
