World Malaria Day Toolkit Ready for Your Use for April 27 2014

World Malaria Day is an opportunity to remember those who have died from malaria, honor those who live with the daily realities of the disease and renew our commitment to join the global movement of people who are making malaria history. If your congregation plans to join millions of friends across the globe by commemorating World Malaria Day on Sunday, April 27, then you'll want to check out these new materials available from the ELCA Malaria Campaign!

For tips and tools to plan your World Malaria Day commemoration, the World Malaria Day Toolkit is the place to start. It contains lots of ideas for worship (children's sermon, sermon starters, litany, prayers, bulletin insert, offering ideas) and some great intergenerational activity ideas as well.

This year the country malaria program in Namibia will benefit from your World Malaria Day offerings.

Check out the Namibia Country Profile that outlines initial program plans. With your help, the program is set to launch in April!

On the ELCA Malaria Campaign resources page you will also find a World Malaria Day PowerPoint presentation (and accompanying script) that can help you plan an adult forum or other education hour. Please feel free to use this presentation in its entirety, or just the parts that interest you most.

Thank you for your support! Hand in hand with our companions in Africa and colleagues all over the world, we're making malaria history!
