Revitalizing Your Congregation Conference Live in Chicago or Via Webcast! April 24, 25 & 26

Five Approaches in one Conference – Presenters:

Rev. Dr. Clint Schnekloth is Senior Pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He also serves on the ELCA Youth Ministry Network’s Connect Journal. He is widely recognized for his relevant communication with Gen F (Facebook Generation). Clint has served as an ELCA missionary in Slovakia. His book, Mediating Faith: Faith Formation in a Trans-media Era is forthcoming from Fortress Press in the first quarter of 2014.

Dr. Ed Kruse is co-author of Wake Up Church with Bill Steadman. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in Mission and Leadership from LSTC. President of HealthierChurch.org, Ed reports, “Current research indicates that congregations have 50%-80% of their members who are Uninvolved, Under-involved or Uninvited.” Ed is nationally known for his work in Stewardship, Spiritual Gifts and Leadership Development.

Rev. Dr. William Steadman is Pastoral Supply Minister at St. James’-Rosemount United Church in Kitchener, Ontario. He has served downtown urban, suburban, mining town and rural congregations for the United Church of Canada. He has consulted with governments, health care agencies and not-for-profit organizations on leadership styles. Bill views “asking the right questions” as more helpful than “giving the right answers.” He is co-author of Wake Up Church.

Rev. Dr. Kathryn Love works in partnership with the ELCA Director for Evangelical Mission, serving seven congregations in the Virgin Islands. She specializes in congregation renewal, stewardship, evangelism and prayer. She assists the bishop with strategic planning and filling vacancies. Kathryn formerly served as ELCA Assistant Director for Evangelism. She will be leading the worship services for the conference.

Larry Gibson is currently a Software Specialist at the University of Illinois focusing on enterprise wide software applications. He is also Owner/Consultant at Gibtech.net specializing in web design and web page strategies. In addition to the presentation he will be doing, Larry is also the webmaster for this webcast. He lives with his family in central Illinois and is a member of The Lutheran Church of Mahomet in Mahomet, Illinois.
