Corporate Compliance Officer - RN

CommuniCare Health Services is proud of our growing family of health care providers. Due to recent expansion, we are looking to fill several key positions. We now have an outstanding opportunity for an RN with a background in corporate compliance to join the CommuniCare family!

The ideal candidate for the Corporate Compliance Officer position must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio. A bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business or health care administration is required. We are looking for previous experience in risk management, corporate compliance, and HIPAA with a detailed understanding of the requirements for health care organizations. At least five years long term care experience is required, and certification in risk management is desirable.

The Corporate Compliance Officer must be computer literate and proficient in Lotus Notes, MS Word, Power Point, and Excel. Attention to detail, and excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills are necessary to successfully function in the position. This position will be based out of our Cincinnati corporate office, and will require 75 percent travel throughout the Cincinnati/Columbus/Cleveland regions.

The RN - Corporate Compliance Officer's responsibilities include:

  • Follow up on corporate compliance and litigation issues
  • Provide compliance education
  • Track compliance issues
  • Interface with corporate QA
  • Other duties as assigned.

The position of RN-Corporate Compliance Officer is full time, with salary based on experience, and an excellent benefits package. Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid license in the State of Ohio
  • Baccalaureate degree with an emphasis in business or health care administration
  • Previous experience in risk management, corporate compliance and HIPAA with a detailed understanding of the requirements for health care organizations
  • At least 5 years long term care experience required
  • Computer literacy and proficient in Lotus Notes, MS Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Detail oriented, excellent writing, grammar and communication skills
  • Certification in risk management desirable
