We currently seek an experienced Healthcare Litigation Attorney in Lakewood, CO (Denver metro area) to coordinate and manage company efforts in responding to government investigations. Selected candidate will respond to subpoenas, manage external counsel, and assist with the defense of any lawsuits, particularly claims raised under the Federal False Claims Act. This attorney will also conduct, lead and manage internal investigations relating to allegations of healthcare fraud and abuse. This will include all aspects of an internal investigation, such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing documents, creating an investigation plan and making recommendations to senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Juris Doctorate Degree
Admitted to practice law in at least one State
6+ years practicing law
Prosecution experience with state or federal government, and/or significant litigation experience defending FCA claims and federal investigations
Expertise in conducting internal investigations
Familiarity with the Federal False Claims Act
Familiarity with federal health care fraud and abuse laws
