MEDVAL, LLC is a Maryland domiciled limited liability company that provides pre-settlement and post settlement services for high exposure workers' compensation and liability claims. As the first firm in the country to provide a fully integrated, single source solution for the Medicare Set-Aside process, we recommend Medicare Set-Aside arrangements, submit them to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for approval, provide annuity and lump sum funding options, provide post-settlement custodial account administration and pharmacy benefit management to our clients, all under one umbrella.
We are seeking staff attorneys to analyze patient records and draft future medical proposals used by insurance companies and injured parties to settle claims and comply with the Secondary Payer Act. The position includes researching and utilizing established criteria and confers with medical and nursing personnel and other professional staff to determine legitimacy and length of treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Juris Doctorate Degree
Admitted to practice law in at least one state
2+ years practicing law
Experience with medical malpractice, liability claims, and/or the Secondary Payer Act a plus.
This is a telecommuting job, so location is not a limitation so long as employee is located within the U.S.
