The Referral Program is a database of nurse attorneys who have completed and returned the Nurse Attorney Referral Program data form. The information collected is used each time a call is received on the toll-free referral line, (866) 807-7133. Those calling for a referral may receive up to three names of nurse attorneys listed in the database that meet their requests. A caller can also request information concerning the attorney's specific legal specialties, rates, business hours, contact information, educational background, and bar admissions.
If a caller indicates that they carry Nurses Service Organization (NSO) insurance, they are referred to NSO at (800) 247-1500 to obtain the referral through their insurance provider.
Interested in joining the Nurse Attorney Referral Program? An active TAANA membership is required. Application forms can be acquired by contacting the TAANA Executive Office by phone at (877) 538-2262, by email at TAANA_executive_office@goamp.com, or downloaded from the Members Only page (NOTE: You must be a TAANA member to access the Members Only section of this website). Members will also receive an NSO form that will only be used to complete NSO referrals. You must complete both forms to participate in both referral programs. These forms can be faxed or mailed with your membership renewal form.
