This event caps off the Westbridge year. It's our 'Academy Awards' night where we display all of the winning entries from the year and the new images entered into the Annual Salon.
After a sit-down dinner, the president will provide a recap of the year and introduce the incoming leadership. A guest speaker will share images and stories, and then the Competition Committee presents awards for winners in the Annual Salon, as well as the point total winners for each category. An overall 'Best Image of the Year' award is presented.
The 'Photographer of the Year' award is also given to the member with the highest total points for the year.
This year's 'guest speaker' will be the newly formed special interest groups (SIG). Each will share images and there will be time for some Q&A as well. Come and see what these innovative sub-groups have created over the past year. (You may even be inspired to join one!)
This is a fun and relaxing evening. A chance to dress up and celebrate another great year. So bring a friend.
