May 21, 2008Annual Salon & Swap MeetGriswold Center, WorthingtonThe Annual Salon night is where members bring all their winning entries over the past year to be judged collectively and privately by three judges. The images are all collected this evening and then displayed at the Annual Banquet. Competition results and awards are also presented at the Annual Banquet which will be held at the Brookside Country Club on the first Friday in June. *** New this year: Swap Meet! Since the competition judging is done privately (upstairs), there's typically nothing planned for this evening. So, this year we've decided to add a Swap Meet to the program. Members may bring used equipment, software or other photographic paraphenalia to sell or swap with other members. We will provide tables to place your goods. All items should be labeled with your name and approx. price. Those with items to sell will be required to sign a waiver that absolves the club of any potential loss due to damage, theft, etc. What a great way to do some Spring cleaning. And perhaps get some great deals on some new equipment, while helping other Westbridge members at the same time. As always, guests are welcome to attend. You must be a member to bring items for sale or trade. Get ahead of the pack by 'pre-listing' the items you plan to bring. Send an email to Dave Dillahunt (dave@ddillahuntphotography.com) with the items you are bringing and we will include them in promotional materials just prior to the event date. * * *
