Ohio Historical Center to Host Photo Panels

Two displays and discussion panels will run along the the Ohio Historical Society's "Capture the Moment" display.

On May 15, a panel will discuss photos from Pulitzer Prize winner John Paul Filo's exhibit "It Happened in Ohio:  The Kent State Shootings."  The exhibit of photos, artifacts and personal accounts related to the killings will be displayed from 6:00-7:00pm and followed by a discussion panel.

On May 1, at 7:00pm another panel will discuss "Taking Pictures, Telling Stories, Being Human."  The panel will include Dispatch columnist Mike Harden; Karl Kuntz, managing editor for visuals; Dispatch photographers Chris Russell, Eric Albrecht and Shari Lewis.

The will discuss the rold of photography in recording historical moments.
