Denauvo Robinson is currently chair of the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. He is in his fourth term and has served as chair for two terms. Robinson is currently retired, having over 45 years of extensive people-related experience in education and community-related settings. He holds a doctorate from Grambling State University. In his career, he has served as president and CEO, vice-chancellor, executive director(s), vice president, headmaster, and psychological counselor. He is married to Jan King Robinson JD., retired. Their family includes Devire and his wife, Brittani, both attorneys in Charlotte, N.C., grandchildren Ava and Dean, and Camille (daughter), a professional actor in Chicago, Illinois.
