ACEC Ohio is offering a 2-hour virtual ethics training via Zoom on Thursday, October 1 at 11:00 a.m. —a great opportunity to fulfill your biennial ethics requirement.

What to Expect:

• Hour 1: Lisa Dodge, Interim Executive Director of the Ohio Engineers and Surveyors Board

• Hour 2: Tom Pannett, Director at Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter

What to Expect:

• Hour 1: Lisa Dodge, Interim Executive Director of the Ohio Engineers and Surveyors Board, will provide updates and insights from the regulatory side.
  
  This hour will cover the Board’s Registration Act and the Code of Ethics for Engineers and Surveyors. Topics discussed include: responsibilities to the public, company licensure requirements, tools available to organizations and firms to protect yourself and your organization, common violations of the registration act and the Board’s process for investigating complaint and issuing disciplinary actions.

• Hour 2: Tom Pannett, Director at Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter, will explore an Ethical Engineer’s Guide to Avoiding the 7-Deadly Sins.
