ACEC Ohio Member Firms Meeting PAC Goals

ACEC Ohio is currently at 71% of our National goal of $27,500 and 68% of our State goal of $27,500.
You know that decisions made by legislators in Washington and Columbus on issues such as tax policy, infrastructure funding, and business regulation have a huge impact on our firms. That is why it behooves us to help fund the campaigns of candidates for Congress and the General Assembly who are supportive of our business interests. You may be receiving a call from one of our PAC Trustees to voluntarily contribute and meet your firm goal for 2017.
As part of the ACEC Ohio PAC strategy, the PAC Trustees have two dinners planned in September, hosting the Ohio House Leadership as well as the Ohio Senate Leadership. These private dinners will be used to communicate the Council's legislative priorities such as infrastructure funding, indemnification legislation, opposition to pipe preference bill, and protection/expansion of the qualifications based selection law.
Supporting the national ACEC PAC allows our members to personally present National PAC checks to Ohio Congressional Members locally in their districts as well as in DC. Nationally priorities include tax reform, infrastructure funding, FAA reauthorization and regulatory reform.
