Chapter Integration 2.0 Task Force

The Chapter Integration 2.0 Task Force kicked off in November 2020 led by Past Chair of the ACEC Ohio Board of Directors, Rod Sommer. The task force is a continuation of Chapter Integration that took place in 2017-2018. The mission of this group is to continue to improve the alignment, relationship, and functionality between the chapters and ACEC Ohio.

The Task Force is made up of the Past Chair, Chair, Vice-Chair and representatives from each chapter of the ACEC Ohio Board of Directors.

• Brendan Lieske, SME - Northeast Ohio Director
• Laurie Adams, DGL Consulting Engineers, Northwest Ohio Director
• Mike Timko, Woolpert - Southwest Ohio Director
• Andy Schneider, Kimley-Horn & Associates - Central Ohio Director 

The Task Force separated its work into four key areas - budget/ financials, advocacy, membership/ diversity, roles & responsibilities. 

Each area will have a subcommittee made up of a primary lead along with 2-3 committee members to support and gather information.

The subcommittees will gather information and report back to the larger task force, which will then report to the ACEC Ohio Board of Directors Meetings on February 11, 2021 & April 8, 2021. We will then get a full vote to implement all changes necessary found by the committee at the ACEC Ohio Annual Meeting on June 10.
