Ohio’s Economy Remains Strong
The Ohio Office of Budget and Management (OBM) released January statistics indicating that state tax receipts continue to be strong at 5.5%, more than analysts had anticipated at this point in Fiscal Year 2022. Click here to see report
Non-auto sales and personal income tax revenue sources and most others remain ahead of schedule for the year to date, which has seen the state take in a total of $15.788 billion in taxes. Heading into the last five months of the fiscal year, state coffers are running $761 million, or 5.1%, ahead of last year's pace, OBM's data show.*
