Congratulations to ACEC Ohio's Scholarship Recipients!

ACEC Ohio's mission is to contribute to America’s prosperity and welfare by advancing the business interests of member firms. We annually award scholarships to students worth $2,500 each!

To qualify for consideration for a scholarship, an applicant must be a full or part-time student (junior, senior, or graduate student status) pursuing an engineering or surveying degree and enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering or surveying program. 

This year, we received 19 scholarship applications!

We are thrilled to announce the 2022 ACEC Ohio Scholarship Recipients: 

• Tyler McFarren, Case Western Reserve University - Civil Engineering / Structural 
• Olivia Galigher, Ohio Northern University - B.S. Mechanical Engineering
• Jared Musci, The Ohio State University - Food, Agricultural & Biological Engineering
• Michael Drummond, University of Cincinnati - B.S. in Civil Engineering & M.S. in Structural Engineering
• Kiara DiLoreto, University of Dayton - Civil Engineering with minors in English & Sustainability

NEW FOR 2021- 2022 – ACEC Ohio offered a $1,500 scholarship for students enrolled in the Construction Inspection Workforce Program (CIWP).  In collaboration with ODOT, this program is a pipeline for the development of the next generation of construction inspectors.

We are thrilled to announce the 2022 ACEC Ohio CIWP Scholarship Recipient:

• Elissa Quesenberry, Columbus State - Construction Management, AAS/ CIWP Certification Spring 2023

We plan to recognize the all recipients at the ACEC Ohio Engineering Excellence Awards scheduled for Thursday, March 10, 2022.
