ACEC Ohio continued to build momentum in 2026 through strong advocacy, workforce development initiatives, and enhanced member engagement.

Key Highlights:

• Launched a Three-Year Advocacy Plan focused on four strategic priorities:
• Protecting Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS)
• Securing long-term infrastructure funding
• Advancing procurement and contract reform
• Strengthening Ohio's engineering workforce pipeline
• Expanded Government Relations Efforts through regional legislative fly-ins, leadership dinners with state policymakers, and engagement with Ohio's congressional delegation.
• Hosted a Gubernatorial Candidate PAC Series, giving members direct access to both major candidates in Ohio’s open governor’s race and reinforcing ACEC Ohio’s commitment to advocacy and political engagement during a pivotal election year.
• Maintained a Strong Member Network with more than 60 committee and chapter meetings that fostered collaboration, leadership, and industry engagement.
• Delivered High-Value Educational Programming covering finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, vertical development, and emerging opportunities such as data centers.
• Introduced a New Webinar Series addressing critical industry topics, including artificial intelligence, leadership development, mergers and acquisitions, and workforce trends.
• Graduated the Seventh Rising Leaders Class, continuing ACEC Ohio's commitment to developing the next generation of industry leaders.
• Supported Workforce Development Initiatives through Future City sponsorships, university engineering enrollment benchmarking, and career awareness campaigns.
• Launched a New Jobs and Internship Portal to connect students and professionals with opportunities at member firms across Ohio.
