Kimberly (Kim) Ford is Vice President of Global Government & Public Affairs for First Data, a Fortune 300 financial services company that provides secure and innovative payment technology and services to more than six million merchants and financial institutions around the world.  In her role, Kim manages First Data’s U.S. legislative and regulatory advocacy program, spanning the 50-state capitols, Congress and regulatory agencies. She also serves as a subject matter expert on payments’ industry issues for state and federal policymakers and routinely hosts regulatory update sessions with key payments industry players. She has served as an expert witness to testify in front of the U.S. Congress as well as various state legislative bodies across the country.  Kim also supervises First Data’s state and federal consultants and is treasurer of the First Data PAC.  Prior to her 10 years at First Data, she was Regional Director for U.S. Senator Bill Nelson of Florida, and she served as the Director of Government Relations for the Tampa Bay Homebuilders Association and Director of Communications for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.  Kim is based in First Data’s Washington, DC office.

Richard K. Crone leads Crone Consulting LLC, helping retailers, billers, financial institutions, payment networks, processors, start-ups and investors transform payments from a cost of business to revenue-producing new lines of business.  
In his 32-year career in financial services, he has focused on harnessing the technological innovations that have shaped the industry, from the introductions of ATMs, home banking, Internet commerce, and Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment, to today’s Mobile banking and payment developments.  Mr. Crone has helped define the mobile commerce strategy for leading retailers, financial institutions, wireless carriers, payment processors, large recurring billers, card issuers, device manufacturers and technology start-ups.  Crone Consulting, LLC has performed due diligence on many of the largest M&A deals and tier-one venture-backed investments in online “alternative payments” and the mobile commerce arena.  Mr. Crone holds a Master of Business Administration degree, beta gamma sigma, and a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from the University of Southern California.

 David Culbertson

David has held various positions in his 26 year career at CSI. In 1999, he was elected as a Vice President by the CSI Board of Directors and given the challenge of developing the company’s Internet-based initiatives. In 2005, he was named VP of Research and Business Development. In 2008 he was named Vice President of Affiliate Services and charged with creating an Affiliate program to leverage corporate talent and improve the delivery channels for CSI solutions throughout the enterprise. In 2011, David was named VP and General Manager of CSI’s Document Services Division.  This division was formed as part of CSI’s Strategic Growth Initiative and is focused on providing a best-in-class product line devoted to electronic and paper document capture and delivery. In 2014, David was named President of CSI’s Technology Services group.  Technology Services is the combination of what was previously CSI's Document Services and Managed Services Divisions along with all operations, development and engineering functions for the enterprise. He has served his community on various boards and currently serves as Chairman for the Lourdes Foundation Board.  He is a past board member and Chairman of Association for Financial Technologies.

Nathan is Chief Patch Officer of Kasasa, an innovative leader in branded, community-powered banking products proven to drive profit and growth. He heads up the company’s culture, human resource practices, facilities, and internal training to make sure that Kasasa is the best place to work and the best team to work with.  Nathan began his eight-year tenure at Kasasa by BancVue in the consulting department, quickly moving up to become the Director of Consulting. As Vice President of Analytics, Nathan led four distinct branches of analytics groups. Under his leadership, the teams tapped proprietary data and third-party sources to provide nearly 750 community financial institutions with the insights to grow and maintain their retail customer bases. In his most recent role as General Manager of the Enabling Product Division, Nathan was responsible for strategic planning, product development, and operations. Nathan earned his BBA from the University of Texas in just five semesters and competed on the school’s 2006 NAIGC national championship gymnastics team. He received an MBA with honors from UT’s Red McCombs School of Business.

Suresh Ramamurthi is Chairman of CBW Bank and serves as its CTO as well. He leads CBW Bank’s initiatives to support and foster innovation including working with financial services start-ups.  He is founder and serves as CEO of Yantra Financial Technologies, a fintech company focused on serving the financial services industry.  A veteran technology entrepreneur, Suresh has founded and exited two start-ups, and has previously worked at Google Inc. Suresh has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.

Mark S. Forbis is the VP and Chief Technology Officer at Jack Henry & Associates.  
Mark began his career in the financial services industry more than 30 years ago, while he was attending the University of Arkansas. Throughout his employment with JHA since 1988, Mark has been vital to the company's technological growth and development through writing, designing, and enhancing products. Following his role of originating the company's Check & Imaging Department, Mark was GM of Technology Services, before transitioning to Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in 2005. Mark lives in Monett, Missouri with his wife, Dawn, where he enjoys technology, reading, traveling, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Mark and Dawn have two grown sons.

Heidi A. Liebenguth is Consulting Partner and Research Director at Crone Consulting, LLC, helping financial institutions, billers, merchants, payment networks, processors, start-ups and investors transform payments from a cost of business to revenue-producing new lines of business. Heidi has direct and recent experience assisting multi-bank holding companies and major payment networks define and implement their mobile banking, mobile payment and customer self service strategies.  She has executed RFPs and performed exhaustive due diligence research on over 60 different companies offering various forms of mobile financial and retailing services, payments and mobile self-marketing.  Recently, she has been conducting extensive market validation meetings with major retailers, financial institutions, data processors and technology providers. Heidi is a subject matter expert on all facets of customer self-service, self-marketing and loyalty.  She has conducted extensive research on Internet Bill Presentment & Payment, online banking, emerging/alternative payments and other data processing services provided to financial institutions.  Prior to joining Crone Consulting, Heidi led her own firm providing advertising, public relations and communications strategy for business, non-profits and education.  Her specialties include preparing research reports, independent articles, whitepapers, advertising and public relations campaigns. Previously, Heidi was Advertising Manager at the American Broadcasting Company’s KABC-TV, Los Angeles, responsible for advertising and public relations. She holds a Master in Business Administration degree, beta gamma sigma, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California.

Sean Gordy 

Sean is a senior HR director for FIS. With more than 20 years as an HR professional, Sean has been the lead HR business partner for FIS’ payment divisions for 10 years. He is the HR Business Partner for FIS’ Global Payments division, and supports over 4000 team members.  Sean has a strong background in compensation, employee relations, employee engagement, organizational development, benefits and international HR.  Sean earned his bachelors of science in organizational management from the University of South Florida. He has attained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Human Resources Institute and Senior Certified Professional in HR (SCP) from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Prior to joining FIS, Sean worked with Sykes Enterprises and Citibank.

Nikhil Nayab is the Head of Product Strategy at Chain. He has over 17 years of progressive experience spanning engineering, product development and investment due-diligence roles at Credit Suisse and Citi. Nikhil holds a Masters in Information Systems from The George Washington University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School.

Jack Milligan is the Editor-in-Chief of Bank Director magazine, a position to which he brings over 35 years of experience in financial journalism organizations.  Jack directs Bank Director's editorial coverage, leads it director training efforts and is a member of the company's management committee.  He has a master’s degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University.

Kurt Helwig is president and CEO of EFTA, the nation’s leading inter-industry trade association dedicated to the advancement of electronic payment systems and commerce. In this capacity he works with EFTA’s Board of Directors to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that includes government and media relations, timely, content-rich meeting agendas, and value driven member services.  Kurt is a regular contributor to Executive Agencies including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), U.S. Department of Treasury, Federal Reserve Board, General Accountability Office and the Department of Agriculture on payment systems issues. Areas of expertise include: the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments and Secure Payments Initiatives, Operation Choke Point, emerging and mobile payments technologies, the Durbin Amendment, prepaid cards, fraud and risk in the payment system, ATM, POS and Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) services, and privacy and customer information.  He has testified before the House Financial Services and Senate Banking Committees and the House Agriculture Committee.  Kurt currently serves as chairman of the ATM Industry Association’s (ATMIA) Board of Directors and is a founding member and co-chair of ATMIA’s Global Government Relations Committee. He also serves on the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments and Secure Payments Task Forces.
