FS-ISAC Cites Rising Risk of Debit Card Fraud

FS-ISAC’s latest report for community institutions offers a rundown of debit card fraud using “Point-of-Sale Entry mode 91” acceptance codes, which negate the need for CVV numbers. The weekly risk summary advises institutions not to issue cards with sequential numbers, which raises the likelihood of financial losses.
