Banking Executives Explore FinTech Innovations, Best Practices at CSI’s Annual Customer Conference

PADUCAH, KY., Oct. 16, 2017 Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX:CSVI), a provider of end-to-end technology solutions that empower financial institutions to remain competitive, compliant and profitable, hosted attendees from financial institutions nationwide, including current customers, industry partners and prospective institutions, at its annual customer conference in Orlando, Florida.

CSI Customer Experience 2017, which was held Oct. 9-11, provided attendees with access to educational sessions surrounding top issues affecting the banking industry, live demonstrations of new products and enhancements, and user-centric panels and workshops. The topics discussed ranged from innovations in mobile banking technology to regulatory compliance updates. In addition, attendees had access to solutions showcases on omnichannel banking initiatives and networking events that offered them the opportunity to exchange ideas.

“Our annual conference connects bankers with a variety of renowned thought leaders and their peers, enabling them to engage in meaningful conversations and discuss industry trends,” said Steve Powless, CSI’s chairman and CEO. “We structure the conference to ensure attendees gain access to the latest technologies and best practices, so they can return to their institutions with solutions to the challenges affecting their businesses.”

A common theme across the conference was the importance of security. Attendees participated in sessions that explored current trends and prevention tactics in cyber security risk management, including a cybersecurity panel during the opening general session. They also learned effective strategies for enhancing their cybersecurity initiatives with knowledge shared by speakers from the FBI and Secret Service.

“With cybersecurity being such a predominant concern for financial institutions, bankers must stay informed on this rapidly changing issue in order to protect their customers’ data,” said Aaron Boigon, senior vice president and director of IT for Plumas Bank, and CX17 cybersecurity panelist. “Having access to both experts and practitioners from such diverse backgrounds gave attendees a well-rounded perspective on cybersecurity, equipping them with practical knowledge they can use to deploy more secure IT environments.”

Attendees also gained insight into creating team culture and pursuing more innovative business strategies with keynote addresses from legendary NFL quarterback Peyton Manning and Peter Sheahan, founder and group CEO of Karrikins Group.

CSI Customer Experience 2018 will be held at the Gaylord Texas on Sept. 11-13, 2018.
