Reservations at the Kimpton Brice Hotel

The Kimpton Brice Hotel - transformed from one of the most historic buildings in town, and boasted as one of the most authentic and charming hotels in historic Savannah GA. We owe a debt of gratitude to General James Oglethorpe. He's the gent who, in 1733, had the genius idea of laying out the city of Savannah in a simple, stately grid pattern of public parks. Today Savannah boasts the country's largest National Historic Landmark District with 22 city squares full of museums, churches, gardens, mansions, and monuments from the Revolutionary and Civil War eras. It all adds up to 2.5 square miles of Southern beauty.

We are making reservations via a rooming list again for the Spring 2019 meeting.  The room rate is $199 single/double.  To make your reservation, please include your arrival and departure dates and your desired room type when completing your meeting registration.  That’s all you need to do!  You will receive your confirmation number by 1 April.  You will need to present your credit card at registration at the hotel.

Registrations received after 10 March cannot be guaranteed the AHIA room rate.

Local 11ten

Local 11ten creates a nightly dining experience complete with intelligent cuisine, a welcoming personality, and modern design. The restored 1950's-era downtown bank houses a casual, elegant restaurant devoted to popular southern flavors using local and seasonal ingredients such as fresh seafood caught from Georgia's coast and fresh vegetables and herbs from Savannah's own local farmers. With a contemporary atmosphere, foodies, tourists, and locals alike gather to enjoy a unique expression on familiar southern flavors.

The Darker Side of Savannah

After dinner, we will join Genteel & Bard for a walking tour of the Darker Side of Savannah.

There’s a legend, the souls of the houses, the old plaster walls, Savannah Gray Brick and mortar, and oak - they fell in love with the faces of the past and invited them to stay. And stay. And stay.

The creepiest, most immersive, story-rich, location-filled, Get-Under-Your-Skin walking tour in Savannah - this is more than a tour - this is an unforgettable Savannah experience - guaranteed.
