Preserving 169 years of tradition

Thanks to the huge volunteer efforts of our EDS and Protocol Committees and Academy staff, The Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati EMS protocols are updated for 2025. These comprehensive clinical practice guidelines, utilized by Southwest Ohio Fire/EMS departments, will now also be adopted for Kentucky and Indiana EMS with the aim of providing evidence based equitable access to quality emergency care in the tristate.

2025 Protocols & Training

This year The Academy Foundation supported the efforts of 15 organizations working to improve the health of our tristate community. Through grant funding, scholarships, and projects led by the Academy of Medicine, we are proud to support our very deserving 2024 Academy Foundation Grant Recipients for the positive impact they are making in providing equitable access to quality healthcare.
