Comprehensive Housing Study
City of Grove City
The City of Grove City is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to prepare a comprehensive Housing Study. The Study will review demographic and socioeconomic trends, examine the city’s current housing inventory and profile, analyze housing affordability and attainability across various income levels, identify relationships and considerations associated with current and future housing locations and City services and infrastructure, and create a housing strategy to support responsible growth and informed decision-making regarding future residential development.
The Housing Study should build upon the goals of the GroveCity2050 Community Plan of creating a wide range of housing types for all phases of life, zoning that allows for a variety of housing types, and housing located within walkable areas. The Study should also include engagement with the public and stakeholders, including public officials, to better understand the city's current housing needs and climate, and to inform housing policy moving forward. The housing study will help support responsible growth and prepare for success within the growing Central Ohio Region.
