The City of Reynoldsburg is seeking a Full-time- Classified Civil Service Permit Technician with our Building Department. Qualified Candidates will have High school diploma or GED; Two (2) years’ experience or training in administrative work preferably in a Building Department or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform office practices and procedures; ability to maintain a pleasant, courteous, professional demeanor and establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public and city personnel and officials; Must be able to multi-task under pressure and communicate effectively by telephone, email and in person; Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license; and must maintain insurability under the City’s vehicle insurance policy; Pass a background investigation including drug screen and physical. Preferred candidates will possess the following at time of application: An associate’s degree in public or business administration or related field.
