COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR CITY OF MEDINA The City of Medina is seeking a Community Development Director. This position is appointed by the Mayor and requires the confirmation of Medina City Council. Compensation commensurate with experience having the starting annual salary range set between $86,886-$94,124. Full-time benefits include group hospitalization/ or opt-out stipend, sick leave, paid holidays and paid vacation.

This individual would perform managerial, administrative, and professional work relating to current planning, zoning, administration, comprehensive planning, redevelopment, and other community development issues. Oversees the Building Division and Economic Development Division, forming the Community Development Department.

Must possess a Master’s Degree in municipal planning, urban affairs or related field with thorough knowledge of advanced theories, principles, and practices of city planning and community development.
